- Actually, it would be wonderful if we all got medicaid but see, that is what we call "universal healthcare" and the masses scream, NO SOCIALISM!!! The government should only work on a couple things and leave everything else to the States.

- I honestly do not understand all of you that oppose this legislation. My guess is that you have been brainwashed by the big insurance companies that make a gazillion dollars off your backs! There is nothing Republican nor Democrate about this subject, it is something that should be a basic right.

- Healthcare should be a basic right for all Americans! If we can mandate education (and we should) then we can (and ought to) mandate health

- Breaveheart, I hope you have a healthy heart. I don't know where you get YOUR facts, but everyone wants to live and live well, that is healthcare, my friend. Those who don't want it go in the hospital on suicide watches. The only way to gaurantee healthcare is a public option.
